Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using the Palpite PRO mobile applications or visiting our website, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Palpite PRO lets you create and join sports prediction leagues and pools, submit match predictions, and view scoring, leaderboards, and related competition features. Features may change as the product evolves.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the service. You may not use the service where it is prohibited by applicable law.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
- When available, you may delete your account from in-app settings as described in our Privacy Policy. Account deletion is not available by email request to support.
Your content
Predictions, league names, pool names, and other content you submit remain yours, but you grant us a license to store, display, and process that content to operate pools and leagues you join. Other members may see your content according to each competition's rules.
Advertising (planned)
We plan to show advertisements in the mobile app through Google AdMob. Advertising is not live yet. When introduced, ads may use non-precise city and country location (if you allow location features) to help place relevant ads. We do not use your predictions or other competition content to target ads. Third-party ad content is subject to the advertiser's and Google's applicable policies.
Location features (planned)
Optional location features are planned for a future release. If offered, you may grant device location permission or enter location manually. We will store city and country only — not precise GPS coordinates or street-level addresses.
Termination and account deletion
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or misuse the service.
When in-app account deletion is available, you may remove your account from the app. Deletion obfuscates personal identifiers, clears your profile photo, replaces your display name with "Deleted user" on leaderboards and similar views, and cannot be undone. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gustavo Paixao's liability is limited to 50 CAD for claims arising from use of Palpite PRO.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction's law.
