Account deletion for Palpite PRO
Palpite PRO is operated by Gustavo Paixao (the developer listed on app stores). This page explains how you can delete your account and associated data from the mobile app, what we remove or anonymize, and what may be retained.
This information is provided to meet app store requirements and to help you understand your choices before you delete your account.
How to delete your account
In the app
You can delete your Palpite PRO account directly in the mobile app:
- Open Profile from the main toolbar menu.
- Scroll to the Danger zone section and tap Delete account.
- Confirm that you understand deletion is permanent.
- Enter the verification code sent to the email address on your account.
- After you confirm with a valid code, deletion is processed immediately.
Account deletion is not available by email request to support.
What happens to your data
Removed
- OAuth provider identifiers linked to your account (for example Google or Apple sign-in IDs).
- In-app ad interaction counters tied to your account, where applicable.
Anonymized
- Personal information such as your name and email address.
- Your profile photo will be cleared.
- Your display name will show as "Unknown Account" where it appears to other users.
May be retained
- Activity and competition data that no longer identifies you after anonymization (for example predictions, league membership history, scores, and standings) may be kept to preserve leaderboard integrity and aggregate statistics.
- Retained data is kept in non-identifying form and is not linked back to your personal information.
- Device advertising identifiers (such as IDFA or GAID) are controlled by your operating system and are not stored as account personal information by us. You can reset or limit them in device settings.
Retention and processing
Account deletion is processed immediately when you confirm with a valid verification code in the app.
Technical server logs are typically retained for up to 90 days on a rolling basis, as described in our Privacy Policy. Once personal information has been anonymized and OAuth provider IDs removed, we may retain non-identifying competition records indefinitely for product integrity and aggregate statistics, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone once processing is complete.
